Jodi Bailey is the mother of 3 sons, and the wife of a Combat Veteran. She received a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Hartford in 2002 with a focus on adolescent Behavior, graduating Magna Cum Laude. In 2006, she continued her education, graduating Summa Cum Laude from Grand Canyon University with a Masters in Education. She currently works for Morgan County Schools as a teacher in the Early Intervention Program. She is on the School Governance Board for Morgan County Elementary School, and has a reputation for being an expert at School Improvement, and child and adolescent behavior.

Jodi Bailey has been described by the veteran community as having a "heart that is endlessly passionate about making a difference in the lives of veterans". She is the recipient of the 2020 Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association's "Moonpie Sisterhood Award", awarded to a member who makes a significant impact in the lives of the veterans and families in the CVMA. She is also the recipient of the 2020-2021 SMART/MAYER VFW Award at the local, regional, and state level, for her extensive work with veterans, honoring America's history, civic responsibility, and patriotism. She has also been honored with an award for actively seeking assistance for a missing veteran in crisis, and playing a vital role in locating him, which ensured his well-being.
